Biography

I am an environmental engineering graduate student in USC’s Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering where I was also awarded the Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) Top-off Fellowship upon admission. I obtained an MS in Environmental Engineering where my thesis focused on the biotransformation and fate of environmental contaminants. In the Simpson lab, my research focuses on the analysis of food disinfection byproducts caused by chemical disinfectants. I am also co-advised by Professor Daniel (Dan) McCurry.
