Adam M.-A. Simpson

Dr. Adam Simpson is an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Southern California. Dr. Simpson earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford in 2018 and 2022 respectively. Prior to earning his graduate degrees, he earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. After obtaining his PhD he became an IDEAL Provostial Fellow for studies in Race and Ethnicity at Stanford University, stationed in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department for the year 2022 to 2023.

Dr. Simpson is eclectic and artistic. In his spare time he likes to go on hikes with his wife Vicki, paint, go running, or snuggle with his pet cat King H’abibi.
